- 1,4-Bis(acryloyl)piperazine is a cross-linker on polyacrylamide gels which reduces background staining on silver-stained gels. In addition, studies suggest that 1,4-Bis(acryloyl)piperazine has been shown to improve electrophoretic separation of proteins and nuclei acids compared to other cross-linkers.
