- Descrizione
- Carboxy-PTIO, potassium salt is shown to be a stable imidazolineoxyl N-oxide radical compound. Studies have indicated that this agent is a nitric oxide antagonist and as a result causes concentration-dependent reductions of murine aortic relaxation. Further studies suggest that at concentrations of 300μM or more Carboxy-PTIO actually slightly enhances relaxation elicited by nitrergic nerve stimulation.
